Baha’u’llah
Over one hundred and fifty years ago, a gentle and radiant spiritual figure began teaching a new paradigm about the nature of our existence in this physical universe and offered spiritual solutions to the moral and social issues facing humanity today. Baha’u’llah (1817-92) was born of wealth and influence in Persia (now modern day Iran) and was heir to a great fortune.
In his late twenties he abandoned his life of affluence and dedicated himself to the spiritual awakening of the peoples of his country. His teachings spread rapidly and kindled the flame of animosity and persecution in the mainstream religious authorities. His followers were brutally oppressed and thousands were put to death and Baha’u’llah himself lived the remainder of his life under constant threat as a prisoner or in exile.
Although Baha’u’llah’s teachings have spread widely throughout the world and are being practiced by diverse cultures and peoples (Baha’u’llah’s writings have been translated into over 800 languages and dialects), still much of the western world is unaware of his empowering and transformative teachings.
The True Life Path seminars aim to provide a glimpse into the teachings of Baha’u’llah on the topics of developing our spiritual reality, the need for healing family life, and creating a society that reflects the highest potential of human capacity.
